چکیده

This article discusses the physical and kinematical characteristics of planetary nebulae accompanying PG1159 central stars. The study is based on parallax proper motion measurements recently offered by Gaia space mission. Two approaches were used to investigate properties sample. results revealed that most studied arise from progenitor stars mass range; $0.9-1.75$\,M$_{\odot}$. Furthermore, they tend live within Galactic thick-disk moving with an average peculiar velocity $61.7\pm19.2$\,km\,s$^{-1}$ at a mean vertical height $469\pm79$ pc. locations H-R diagram indicate have final stellar evolutionary age $0.58\pm0.08$\,M$_{\odot}$ $25.5\pm5.3 \rm{x}10^3$ yr, respectively. We found good agreement between dynamical their companion ($28.0\pm6.4 yr).

Binarity of Central Stars of Planetary Nebulae

I list the 16 planetary nebulae (PNe) known to contain closebinary nuclei, and show that the nebulae generally have axisymmetric structures, including elliptical, bipolar, or ring morphologies. The orbital periods range from 2.7 hr to 16 days, and close binaries constitute ≈10% of all central stars. Since the known binaries were found mainly from photometric variability, which depends on heatin...

Planetary nebulae with emission - line central stars

The kinematic structure of a sample of planetary nebulae, consisting of 23 [WR] central stars, 21 weak emission line stars (wels) and 57 non-emission line central stars, is studied. The [WR] stars are shown to be surrounded by turbulent nebulae, a characteristic shared by some wels but almost completely absent from the non-emission line stars. The fraction of objects showing turbulence for non-...

On near Chandrasekhar mass central stars of planetary nebulae

Aims. A recent spectroscopic analysis of central stars of planetary nebulae (CSPNe) claims that the sample studied includes five CSPNe with masses very close to the Chandrasekhar limit of white dwarfs. This claim is tested using available kinematical and chemical abundance information. Methods. Kinematical parameters are extracted from Galactic orbits and compared with parameters expected for p...

On the mass - loss of PG 1159 stars ?

The winds of the four PG 1159 stars NGC7094, NGC246, K 1-16 and RX J2117.1+3412 are investigated by means of non-LTE models for spherically expanding atmospheres. Based on the results of recent plane-parallel non-LTE analyses, several individual models with variousmass-loss rates are calculated. Synthetic profiles of the C iv resonance line are compared to high resolution, high quality HST and ...

Elemental Abundances in PG 1159 Stars

The hydrogen-deficiency in extremely hot post-AGB stars of spectral class PG1159 is probably caused by a (very) late helium-shell flash or a AGB final thermal pulse that consumes the hydrogen envelope, exposing the usuallyhidden intershell region. Thus, the photospheric elemental abundances of these stars allow to draw conclusions about details of nuclear burning and mixing processes in the pre...
